Conditions were great, these must be the best December conditions in a fair while at Sunshine. Basically it is similar to February conditions. I was there last week as well and it snowed 70 cm from last week. Mid shin deep powder today.

Ski day was Dec 17: High winds kept some lifts down for the day but there’s a ton of snow off the Strawberry/Standish/Wawa chairs.

Beautiful May 1st bluebird. Not bad coverage, but pretty slushy by end of day. The ski out is completely bare at the bottom, so I’m pretty sure that was closed. Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22–23, have been excellent. Midwinter conditions on most slopes, especially the higher snow fields. Visibility was non existent at time, but the sun tried its best to make an appearance. The snow softened up as the day went on and its skiing great!
