Snow Reporter Comments: Report Updated: 10 Jul 7:18am Sunny skies today, snowstorm incoming With temps dipping to -7°C, the snowmaking team had another big night and the guns are still cranking this morning. It's currently -5°C and we're heading for a forecast top of 5°C. It should be a mostly sunny day on the mountain - so make the most of it before the front rolls in. Winds are forecast to be northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h, becoming light in the middle of the day. The groomers will be skiing and riding really nicely this morning with the fresh man made snow. Yesterday, the Happy Valley T-Bar opened, bringing our total to 15 lifts, and that's what's scheduled to run today. As always, be the first to know by downloading the Perisher App, and keep an eye on the lift status report for real-time updates as lifts may open up throughout the day. We've got the Rossignol and Elan crew at the base of Front Valley today and tomorrow, so if you're after something new this season, come test out the latest skis. And for entertainment, head to Jax Bar from 11am-2pm to check out Vibe Duo, awarded Sydney's best cover band in 2025. Looking ahead, the weather is set to turn tomorrow, with high winds and snow developing later in the day. The storm should bring snow to low levels through to early next week. Keep an eye on the forecast and stay tuned as even more lifts and terrain could open up!
