Snow Reporter Comments: 29 Aug 7:47am Today at Perisher 42cm Storm Total! Another snowy morning from Perisher! Happy Friday! As September fast approaches, winter refuses to let go and we couldn’t be happier! 22cm of fresh snow has blanketed the resort over the past 24 hours, stacking onto the 20cm that fell the previous night. That brings the storm total to 42cm! And it's still coming! Today you’ll find 46 freshly groomed trails ready to explore, with a top of 0°C, more snow in the forecast, and some magical mid-storm vibes. Yes, it’s windy and wild…but that just means deeper drifts, fresher lines, and that unmistakable thrill of skiing and boarding in a real alpine storm. And here’s the best part: the storm clears on Sunday. That means powder turns all weekend before the skies part to reveal what could be a bluebird spring powder day. Blue skies, fresh snow across the hill, endless terrain calling your name…it really doesn’t get any better. If you’re sitting at work right now, staring at your screen, this is your sign. Pack the car, grab your crew, and head for the mountains. Weekends like this don’t come around often, and you’ll be kicking yourself if you miss it. With this wind, the T-Bars will be your best friend today, keep in mind that alpine conditions are changing quickly, so make sure you head to the Perisher Lift Report for the latest updates and opt-in to ‘Snow & Weather’ and ‘Lift & Operations’ notifications in the Perisher app so you’re always in the loop.

Mount P looked ridiculously busy, but lovely conditions for so early in the season and still fresh tracks to be found if you venture away a little
