Snow Reporter Comments: Last updated: Tuesday, February 10, 6:47AMAt Snow Summit, BensWeather.com, our local meteorologist, is forecasting dry conditions through most of today, with temperatures cooling to around 50 degrees. Southwest winds will increase to 15–25 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 35 mph. A chance of showers develops tonight as a low-pressure system moves inland across Central and Southern California, with scattered showers continuing into Wednesday. Snow levels may drop to around 6,000 feet, bringing the potential for a light dusting, mainly above 7,000 feet. Wednesday looks cooler and windy, with daytime highs in the lower 40s and overnight lows falling into the upper 20s to low 30s. The system exits on Thursday, leading to decreasing clouds and showers, though cool and breezy conditions are expected to linger through the end of the week and into the weekend. Looking ahead, attention quickly turns to the next round of storms, which could be stronger and colder, with lower snow levels and the potential for more meaningful snowfall accumulations.Winter looks ready to return just in time for a big holiday stretch with President’s Weekend, Valentine’s Day, and Ski Week right around the corner. Conditions on the hills are spring-like conditions with thin coverage but lots of park features to keep up the fun. Snowmaking will begin when conditions allow. We don’t have a set schedule because Mother Nature is the boss, and she doesn’t take meeting requests.Even with 17 total terrain park features in the mix, the alpine fun is still stacked. Lap Upper Westridge and start by hitting the Road Gap snow feature at the top of the trail then gain speed to hit the X-Wing jump at the base before dropping into Zzyzx. As you work your way down, don’t miss the small-to-medium size hip that sets you up perfectly for the iconic green logo wallride at the base, right near the entrance to Chair 3 which provides easy mid-mountain chairlift access back to the top.TODAY'S OPERATIONSChair 1: ClosedChair 2: 9AM-4PMChair 3: 9:30AM-3:30PMChair 4: 9AM-4PMChair 7: 9AM-3PMChair 8: ClosedMC 1 (public): ClosedTrailsUpper Miracle MileLower Miracle MileBear Bottom Beginner AreaUpper Summit RunLower Summit RunUpper WestridgeZzyzxSummit ConnectionUpper Log Chute7 DownHog BackLower Timber RidgeTicket Windows, Rental Shop, Security, Tuning & Repair: 8:30AM–4:30PMRetail Shops: 8:30AM-4PMAdventure Academy: 8:30AM–4PMSnow Tubing: 10AM–3:30PMDining:Ironwood: 8AM-4PMOakfire Grill: 8AM-4PMSlopeside Speakeasy: 10AM-4PMTimber + Dough Pizza: 11AM-2PMFEW DAYS LEFT FOR PASS HOLDERS TO SAVE 50% FOR THEIR FRIENDSFor a limited time, 25/26 Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, BBMR Anytime, and Snow Valley Anytime pass holders can score 50% off (regularly 25%) Friends & Family lift tickets for any date the rest of the season when you purchase by February 13.
