Arrived yesterday and skied all-day. The snow is deep and incredible, but you still need to watch out for wind blown areas where the rocks are exposed. Tough conditions out there today. Heavy, wet snow/rain mix at bottom and sleet on top. Very low visibility. And not really any groomed runs which made for chunky piles of heavy snow that you couldn’t see. But, we were skiing in July and there are still areas of untouched powder!

I skied on July 10th and 11th. The resort was doing a great job to make the best of the limited snow. The trails that were open, looked ugly with some brown patches of mud intermixed with the snow, but surprisingly easy to glide through without a ski getting stuck. We skied until the lifts stoppe...

Considering the temperatures yesterday and the lack of snow until recently, conditions are pretty good. A bit slick and firm in the morning but the afternoons are good. Much better than the present conditions in Argentina.
