Snow Reporter Comments: Good morning everyone,If you're hitting the slopes this week, you won't be disappointed. Yesterday we had snow flurries and cloud cover all day. Snow accumulations were up to an inch throughout the day and enough to freshen up the tops of our trails for first tracks. This morning, we have partly sunny skies and mixed clouds. The snow surface is velvety for first tracks with the refresh of white gold. The high for today is 13 degrees at the summit and 17 in the base area. Winds are NNW at 15 to 20mph. Be sure to bundle up as today is the coldest day of the week. But don't let that deter you: the ski conditions will reward you. Crews groomed out Upper Haggetts and its skiing nicely this morning. Upper Codys and Upper Kanc are still open for all natural terrain.Seasonal Programs are scheduled to meet normally today. Our instructors will take plenty of breaks and dish out hand warmers as needed just like we've done all winter.Groomers were out yesterday evening on the east side trails. They groomed Lower Appalachian, Mohawk, Pinnacle East, and Lower Roosevelt. They finished their passes of Mohawk and Lower Roosevelt around 7pm. Once the sun has some time to warm this up, these trails will ski and ride quite nicely. The Summit Express, Pine Quad, Rabbit Run, and Lil Pine carpet spin from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The Sunnyside Triple is open from 8:30 to 4:30. And the Snow Pine Carpet is open from 9:30 to 3 for lessons. On the operational side of things, there will be racing happening this morning on the Headwall and East slope. We are expecting about 140 racers, The Headwall and East slope will be closed but the Horn and Fat & Happy will remain open. The first will conclude by noon and the second will start around 12:30.Sunday Afternoon tickets are just $49 from 12:30 to 4:30pm.____________________________________If you're planning a visit, be sure to buy your tickets online ahead of time for the best rate. Winter's in full swing, and it's a great time to be out here. See you on the slopes. There's still availability for Adventure Camp for your kiddos. This is a great program that meets for kids during February Vacation Week.Got a kiddo 5 years old and under? Check out our Child Season Pass. Ski every day of the season for just $30!
