Mt. Holly Ski and Snowboard Resort is located one hour north of Detroit in the Groveland Valley and tends to have a longer front and back end to its season than other areas in the region. It is mainly geared towards intermediate and advanced skiers with some terrain for beginners. Where Is Granby Ranch Ski Resort Located? The ski resort is about an hour from Detroit, which is also the nearest major airport. You will need to rent a car to get to it.
