Snow Reporter Comments: King Pine is fired up today, delivering smooth turns, solid coverage, and that unmistakable early-season stoke. With freshly groomed trails and crisp winter air, it’s a perfect day to click in and enjoy top-to-bottom fun. Thanks to the hard work of our snowmaking crew, conditions continue to improve as we build toward even more terrain. Another couple of inches fell yesterday too! Four lifts are scheduled to open at 10:00am including Polar Bear, Black Bear, Cubby Carpet and Bear Rug with skiing and riding on King Pine, Pine Cone, Pine Spills, East Slope, Knotty Pine, Red Pine and White Pine, as well as the Bear Rug and Cubby Carpet Learning Center areas. Note, our Uphill Travel Policy is not active until required uphill routes are open.

King Pine sits in a valley in the White Mountains National Forest and primarily serves the beginner and intermediate skier or snowboarder. That's not to say there aren't some steeps. The sheltered location protects the slopes from cold winds making most ski and ride days pleasant. The resort is known for it's family-friendly atmosphere, affordability and great grooming. The vertical is a short 350 feet, so keeping track of the kids is easy. Guests will love the adjacent Purity Spring Resort, where they can find lodging, home-style food and world class amenities.
