This was our 1st adventure to Glen Eden. We live about an hour away but love the Milton area so took the kids out to finish off a wonderful Family Day evening.
The resort wasn’t busy, we arrived after 7pm - and were happy the resort closed at 9:30pm giving us a few hours to enjoy.
The resort set up is awkward as you have to go back to your car to store your belongings with ski boots on. After rental equipment (great staff+service), skiing started at 7:40pm and finished at 8:45 pm… then enjoyed some beaver tail desserts and returned our equipment. At 9:10pm we arrived up to the main chalet bathrooms (upper floor) for 1 family member to use the bathroom before heading home - a quick pee. A young female staff member standing in the entry told us we couldn’t use the bathroom because “we are closing soon, you can’t use the bathroom”. We let them know wife just had to go pee and made sure the resort closed at 9:30pm?? She affirmed, but again repeated “sorry you can’t use the bathroom because we’re getting ready to close”
A young male staff member was behind her, but not sure what he was doing.
If the place wasn’t run, for the most part, by teens, we would’ve asked to speak to a manager.
We paid nearly $500 to ski for a short period of time. Surely allowing your patrons to use your toilet 20 mins prior to closing should not have been declined. And there were still people skiing everywhere you looked.
Quite unprofessional. Hopefully these staff members only got paid until 9:10pm last night.

A great learning center close to the surrounding cities.

Overall a decent place to spend a day off during the winter, but if you have skied anywhere else in your life, this will not be amusing.

Great for a short getaway, beautiful park on the escarpment.

No doubt Glen Eden is good value particularly for pass holders. Yet there are numerous frustrations with the never ending dysfunctional management. Every year they spend too much time, energy and money on attempting to blow artificial snow in late November and early December. Only to watch it disappear with the predictable rain in December. Most frustrating is finally having a great base of snow on the hill and, because of decisions made before the season even started, they CLOSE the hill. Today, Monday March 20th, is a beautiful sunny day with ideal temperatures with a ton of snow on the hill....and, you guessed it, management has the hill closed. So frustrating.

Great place to get out for an hour or 2 early before lineups start. Close to home Staff have been great through COVID restrictions. Grooming is inconsistent.
I purchase the cheapest annual pass and use it maybe 8 to 10 times during the season even though I live 5 minutes away. It's probably a good spot for people new to skiing. I only go for maybe an hour or 2 to help maintain my skills. Nothing of interest here for advanced or even most intermediate skiers

Excellent for lessons and close to Miltonians..:) excellent to ski after work...Weather permitted..
Kids get good lessons and it is a nice family place in winter and summer.
Restaurants and lodges need some improvement but overall it is a good place.

This is a great place to learn the basics. Multi-week ski schools are good. Night skiing is a bonus and they work hard to have snow on the hills. Lots of schools bring kids here during the week. The weekends are pretty busy. Small hill, but you can get quite a few runs in because of the fast lifts.
