Great day today (Jan 29). Yes it was cold at the start but sun, minimal crowds and light wind made for an amazing day on the mountain

Skied yesterday. Sadly much of the snow was just pushed around, so a lot of scrape spots within a couple hours. Best to get out first thing before Jerry plows the mountain. Windy windy and dust on crust, overall the conditions weren’t bad, but it was very Cold and only made worse by the high speed wind.

Skied M W TH and the snow coverage was great. Very edge able on hard packed trails. Thursday was tough skiing heavy wet snow in most places w low visibility best runs w visibility and soft snow were rime skylark & upper superstar. Coverage was thin in some areas but a couple inches of good snow helped a lot. Many trails were fresh and ungroomed.

They are doing their best making snow. Zero crowds. It was worth the ice. Lower Wildfire was excellent.
