5 months agoPivoted from Park City and chased the snow to Vermont and were really pleasantly surprised. Conditions were much better than expected for early April, with excellent grooming that set up a firm, hard-packed morning that softened into really nice carvable snow by late morning. By the afternoon it turned into classic spring conditions with slush and some standing water at the base (especially near the Mansfield gondola), along with a few thin spots to watch for, but still plenty of fun moguls and soft snow to play on. Overall, a great day for a family — not perfect, but way better than expected for this time of year.
