Snow Reporter Comments: November 27, 9:55 AMHappy Thanksgiving! We’re officially through the warmup, and things started to cool down last night. Snowmaking fired back up this morning, focusing on terrain expansion on trails like Domino Chute, Lower Jester, and Lower Organgrinder. Natural snow trails remain closed for now, but we’re continuing to assess conditions through the cooldown to see if anything can reopen. A groomed top-to-bottom route is available on Jester, Murphy’s Glades, Heaven’s Gate Traverse, Lower Downspout, Lower Jester, and Gondolier.Super Bravo Quad spins from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Heaven’s Gate Quad runs from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM. Looking for park laps? Mt. Ellen currently has 15 features set up, and the hike park is open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM for passholders.Looking ahead to the holiday weekend, a brief cold front will drop temps, should be perfect for building a strong base and opening more terrain. It’s shaping up to be an ideal time for skiing with friends and family! Ready for more than turns? Join us Nov. 27 for a Thanksgiving Feast at Rumble’s Bistro (2–8:30 PM) or Nov. 29 for live music with Zach Nugent & Dark Star Project at Castlerock Pub (1–7 PM).Have an Ikon Base Pass? Come ski before 12/25 and earn a voucher for an unrestricted lift ticket for yourself to be used any day here for the rest of the season. Grab up to five of these tickets simply by skiing and riding here before Christmas. As a reminder, please no uphill travel at this time, as mountain operations are ongoing at both mountains.
