Snow Reporter Comments: January 11th, 1:45 PMGood afternoon Sugarbush shedders! Last night, groomers transformed frozen surfaces into beautiful corduroy, and with two inches of wet, heavy snow from Mother Nature, today is shaping up to be a must-ski day on the mountain. Weekend fun doesn't have to stop today, we expect 2 or more inches tonight for a prime day on the mountain tomorrow. Tomorrow's forecast calls for sunny skies in the morning with clouds increasing throughout the day. Temperatures will drop slightly overnight, settling in the mid-teens at the summit and mid-to-high 20s at the base. Enjoy top-tier groomers with a soft layer of snow to push around, plus variable conditions on natural terrain topped with wet, heavy snow. Snowmaking will be firing back up on Stein's and Easy Rider at Lincoln Peak, and Cliff's and Crackerjack at Mt. Ellen. Please use caution near snowmaking areas, as conditions can vary and visibility may be low.Enjoy 484 skiable acres served by 15 lifts and 111 open trails, 48 of which received fresh corduroy overnight. Castlerock and North Lynx lifts will be turning tomorrow from 9:00 AM - 3:45 PM. All natural terrain is suggested for experts only, as base coverage has become thin and conditions are variable. Check out Gate House terrain for some mellow and easy-going groomers, perfect for the kiddos, beginners, or anyone looking for a good time.Operations are moving to weekday hours, meaning GMX will kick things off, loading at 8:00 AM, followed by all other scheduled lifts at 9:00 AM. Sugarbush offers freestyle fun for all levels! At Mt. Ellen you'll find over 100 of the finest features on the East Coast located on Riemergasse and Sugar Run. While Lincoln Peak is home to two mini parks featuring 12 creative elements, including newly installed side hits!Join us this afternoon from 4:15–5:00 PM, don’t miss our Lift Evac Demo with the Ski Patrol on the Gate House Lift at Lincoln Peak!
