Snow Reporter Comments: Last update: Wednesday, 22nd Jul 2026 Morrisons Porters is open with all lifts spinning, the road is chain free and the forecast today is for a mix of high cloud and sunshine with light winds. We have been making snow for the last couple of days, so our lower mountain trails are in great shape. Upper mountain intermediate trails through McNulty’s and down into Stella Bowl are holding great snow as well. With expected low crowds, today is going to be a great day to enjoy some time at Porters, before we see a change to more unsettled weather tomorrow. At 5:45am we have light winds at all elevations and scattered high cloud. The temperature in the base area is currently 2 degrees. Our shuttle service will be running return trips throughout the day, picking up at Chain Bay 2 (and the lodge on request) at 9:30am and 10:30am. Return shuttles will be available all afternoon. Porters Lodge Restaurant and Bar will be closed today and re-opening Thursday morning. Snowplay will be closed until at least this coming weekend, when we are expecting to see some more snow. Please check this report and our socials for updates on snowplay.
